My summary of the book " Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak It's focuses on a young boy named Max who, after dressing in his wolf costume, wreaks such havoc through his household that he is sent to bed without his supper. As he feels agitation with his mother, Max's bedroom undergoes a mysterious transformation into a jungle environment, and he winds up sailing to an island inhabited by malicious beasts known as the "Wild Things." After successfully intimidating the creatures, Max is hailed as the king of the Wild Things and enjoys a playful romp with his subjects; however, he decides to return home, to the Wild Things' dismay. After arriving in his bedroom, Max discovers a hot supper waiting for him. _My personal reaction : It's show Max actions quite common for children to get angry and fantasize about what they could do if they ruled the world and then calm down and consider the consequences. _ I think the author’s intent was show what the kid thought deep in side their mind, and what they wanted to do like could do a king so they can do whatever they want. And the author also show that Max will no longer let his anger separate him from those whom he loves and who love him. _patterns of organization I did was : Cause/effect.

My summary of "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein. _It's all about the love of the tree gave the boy - Henry. The tree closed to him when he was little. He came to the tree and played, laughed, and happy. The tree gave him fruit when he was hungry, and put him on a branch after he played and tired. They used to happy. Go through the milestones of time, Henry grew up, and the number of time he come to the tree becomes less. There was the time he sad about something of the life, he came to the tree, and the tree were exchanged things can do for him and wanted him to be happy. The tree has been given to nothing to left to give except stump, and Henry said he doesn't need anything , he tired, and he wanted to laid on stump and took a deep sleep. The tree was happy. _My personal reaction : I feel sad and I think the story want to tell something about the simple of the life. Somehow we forgot it, and always chase with so many complicating things we want. We didn't know that things will leave us, after all we just want a simple thing make we can laugh, happy, and feel peace.I think the tree like mother, she'll give anything you need and you just realize when it was late. But she still waiting for us to come home... _Style of note would be the best when I took note is : List.
